Biographical Info

Rizk Elmadbak completed his Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, with a double major in Psychology and Neuroscience, and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at York University. He joined SPRQL in September 2019 as a research assistant before transitioning into the role of lab manager in September 2021. Rizk is currently pursuing his PhD in Clinical Psychology at York University, where he investigates the relationship between defense mechanisms and the therapeutic alliance in dialectical behaviour therapy for borderline personality disorder.
