Samantha Joel Wins SPSP Student Publication Award

The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) awards Samantha Joel a Student Publication Award. Each year, three first author student papers are selected for their theoretical contribution to the field of psychology as well as for their use of innovative research methods. Samantha received her award for her paper “The things you do for me: Perceptions of romantic partner’s investments promote gratitude and commitment”. Samantha wrote her paper with collaborators Emily Impett and Geoff MacDonald from the University of Toronto, and Amie Gordon and Dacher Keltner from the University of California, Berkley. Samantha will continue her exploration of romantic relationships with her exciting research in the SPQRL lab. Congratulations to Samantha and her co-authors!
